DEFICIT INCREASES
QUEENSLAND RAILWAYS. Brisbane, October 27. The Railway Commissioners’ annual report discloses that during last financial year the Queensland railways showed a deficit of £1,792,754, compared with a deficit of £894,498 in the previous year.— A. A N.Z.
