PROPOSED AMENDMENTS IN NS.W. (Rec. 11.10 p.xn.) Sydney, October 27. In the Assembly a bill amending the Arbitration Act providing access to the Arbitration Court by the police and empowering an industrial commission to regulate the prices of commodities and prevent unreason able increases in prices was read a first time. —A. -and NJZ.
