FARM WORKERS
WEEKLY HALF-HOLIDAY. PROPOSED LEGISLATION. (Per United Press Association.’/ Wellington, June 16. It is understood the Agricultural and Pastoral Workers’ Association has decided to promote a Bill this session of Parliament for the purpose of giving farm workers a compulsory weekly half-holiday. It is alleged that at present farm workers have no time to play games or enjoy recreation of any kind except Sunday.
