FINANCE MINISTER RESIGNS. (Rec. 1.5 a.m.) Paris, June 15. M. Peret, Minister of Finance, has resigned.—Reuter. FUTURE OF MOROCCO TRIBES TO BE DISARMED. DEPORTATION FOR KRIM. (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) London, June 15. The Morning Post’s Paris correspondent says: “French and Spanish delegations met to decide the future of Morocco. They propose, in addition to the disarmament of the tribes and the prohibition of all traffic in arms, that military posts be established in ancient Roman fashion in the midst of hostile territory. The frontier will be modified in order that the Beni Zeronal tribe may be placed in the French zone. The Spaniards would have liked to try Abdel Krim in order to punish him for his harsh treatment of prisoners, but Krim surrendered upon the promise that he would not be handed over to the Spanish, and now he may be sent to Corsica or Madagascar. The latter is the more probable as the climate resembles that of Morocco, and the Island is far enough away to prevent escape or intrigue.”—A. & N.Z.
