TOREADOR’S FRIGHTFUL END. THOUSANDS WITNESS BULL RING INCIDENT. (Rec. 8.35 p.m.) Madrid, June 14. Tw'elve thousand persons saw Mariane Montes, a most famous bull fighter, killed instantly in the Madrid bull ring. Montes engaged six extremely ferocious bulls, but missed the fifth which tossed his body into the air several times to the horror of the onlookers. He had been previously injured nineteen times in the bull ring.—A. and N.Z.
