THE PRINCE OF WALES
ENTHUSIASM IN AFRICA. (By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) CAPETOWN, May 8. (Received May 9 at 2 a.m.) The tour of the Prince of Wales in the south eastern districts is equally successful with his visit to Capetown. Everywhere he has been received with unbounded enthusiasm. In all the towns and villages along the route, people turned out eager to greet him. The population in these districts is largely Dutch. The Prince’s evident pleasure in mixing with them is much appreciated. At various townships he was met and escorted by large commandos. Everywhere features of the welcomes were the crowds of children and ex-Service men. He visited the famous Congo Caves.
