LOCHIEL PICNIC

A SUCCESSFUL GATHERING. The annual picnic at Lochiel took place on the school glebe on Wednesday. The weather conditions were somewhat unpleasant, but the hedges and trees surrounding provided a good shelter from the high winds prevailing. There was a large gathering of both old and young, and all thoroughly enjoyed the outing. A strong and -energetic committee successfully carried out the sports, which included events for adults and children, and also provided tea, milk and sugar.
