PINE BUSH V. FORTROSE. (From our Correspondent.) Last Saturday, favoured with an exceptionally fine day, a party of Fort rose players journeyed to Pine Bush, where a most enjoyable day was spent. Play took place on the court on Mr R. Wilson’s grounds, which presented an attractive appearance with the fine native and exotic trees towering above the court. The visitors were most hospitably treated by their Pine Bush friends, and after the close of the games Mr A. J. Millard heartily thanked Mr and Mrs Wilson and friends for the splendid welcome Fortrose had received. Appended are the results, Pine Bush players being mentioned first:— Ladies’ doubles: Mrs Wilson and Miss McLennan 5 lost to Miss Watson and Mrs Tilly 6; Miss Cook and Miss Golden 1 lost to Miss McEwan and Miss Hurie 6. Men’s doubles: R. Wilson and B. Cook 6 beat K. McKenzie and D. McKenae 3; R. Brash and N. O'Connor 1 lost to R. Blick and H. Golden 6. Combined doubles: Mr and Mrs Wilson 6 beat K. McKenzie and Miss Watson 0; B. Cook and Miss McLennan 6 beat D .McKenzie and Mrs Tilly 3; R. Brash and Miss Cook 3 lost to R. Blick and Miss McEwan 6; N. O’Connor and Miss Golden 2 lost to H.
