IN THE WESTERN DISTRICT. APARIMA v. NIGHTCAPS. (From our Correspondent). The Aparima Club travelled to Nightcaps on Wednesday, and were defeated by three points. The visitors were hospitably entertained at tea and afterwards on the green. Mr Kerse thanked the Nightcaps Club for the very enjoyable game, and assured them of a hearty welcome and a good game when they came to Riverton. Mr P. Boyle, on behalf of the Nightcaps Club, suitably replied. The ladies who supplied the refreshments were given three hearty cheers. The following are the scores:— A. N. The weather was somewhat threatening when play in the seventh round of the Dominion Rinks championship commenced today. The afternoon was bright and sunny. Rain had made the greens less fiery.
