FATAL EXPLOSION

THREE MEN KILLED. (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) MELBOURNE, November 20. A terrific explosion occurred at the Australian .Explosive Company’s works at Deer Park, resulting in the deaths of Christopher Vella, P. Ackew, and Fred Inglis. The explosion occurred in the mixing-room, where a large quantity of gelignite was being handled. The cause is unknown. Vella and Askew were blown to pieces, while Inglis was so terribly injured that he died without speaking.
