PACIFIC CABLE BOARD
MR BRUCE’S ACTIVITIES. (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) LONDON, November 19. (Received November 20, 8.15 p.m.) Mr S. M. Bruce discussed with the Chancellor of the Exchequer matters relating to the Pacific Cable Board. It is understood arrangements were arrived at which will ensure better representation of commercial interests on the board appointment. As the elections intervened, some time is likely to elapse before the Bill amending the board’s constitution can be passed.
The board has arrived at no decision yet regarding the depulication of the cable
