SHIPS OF OTHER DAYS
A SALVAGE PROPOSAL. (By Telegraph—Press Assn .--Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) ROME, November 19. (Received November 19, 10.0 p.m.) Two splendid ships belonging to the Emperor Tiberius have been at the bottom of Lake Nemi for nineteen centuries. Signor Mussoulini is now president of a committee which is raising £50,000 in order to partially drain the lake to salve the ships.
