COPPER TRAIL’S QUALIFICATION.
To the Editor. Sir, —In your issue of Thursday there appeared a paragraph in- reference to the qualification of Copper Trail with the Birchwood Hounds. The proper course for your correspondent to have followed was to have written to either the secretary or Master of the Hunt, when, if he is an interested party, the information would have been sent to him. He must have known that you would not have the information at hand and would have to apply at the Hunt for it, so why not write direct for what he required. Each year there is is some dissatisfied person questioning the qualifications issued, and the Hunt decided to take no further notice of these unless they were sent by a person that was interested, and had a right to the information. If your correspondent is one of these and forwards his request to myself or the Master the information will be sent to him. I am, etc., E.' MATHESON, Secretary, Birchwood Hunt.
