BOER WAR VETERANS
REQUEST FOR REPATRIATION BENEFITS. THE PREMIER SYMPATHETIC. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, September 23. In reply to a deputation of the South Afri* can War veterans asking for a share of the repatriation, settlement and pensions benefits to-day, the Prime Minister admitted that the veterans were not as well treated a a returned soldiers. He did not fee how they could provide for them until they disposed of the others. They had a claim on the country.
