DIVORCE LAWS
HON. .1. MACGREGOR'S BILL. (Special to the Times.) WELLINGTON, September 2S. The Hon. J. MacGregor's Divorce Am* cndment Bill was partially considered in Committee by the Legislative Council to day. This Bill provide# that failure to comply with an order of the Court for restitution of conjugal rights may he a ground of divorce, thus restoring the position that existed until the Jaw was amended some years ago. The Bill also proposes that a divorce may be granted where, the parties have been legally separated for thn?e years.
