WATERSIDE WOTUCETtS. CONFERENCE WITH EMPLOYERS. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, January 25. A conference between the Waterside Workers’ Federation and the employers regarding a new agreement, proposed by the federation, opened this morning. After some discussion the proceedings were adjourned till the afternoon ■ in order that, the delegates might consult their own parties further. Negotiations have so far proceeded fairly smoothly. The delegates are not yet in agreement, but it was gathered that the discussion was being pursued with hope of settlement.
