FIRES
COTTAGE DESTROYED. The brigade received a call front the alarm box at the corner of Spey and Dee streets at 2.45 this morning, and on proceeding to the scene of conflagration It was found to be a cottage occupied byMr Webb in Leet street. The occupants, Mr Webb and his son, just managed to escape, the whole structure being ablaze in a short space of time. The water supply at the service of the brigade was strong, and the flames were soon under control. Nothing was saved. The furniture is supposed to be insured for £l2O.
