The Customs duties collected at Invercargill during the month of April amounted to £5886,’ including £iB3 17s 9d
preferential. For the corresponding period of last year the total amount collected was £6521 6s lid, including £39 9s Id preferential, or a decrease for April of’ this year of £635. The beer duty amounted to £ll2 16s 9d, as compared with £ll9 13s 7d for April, 1901.
