Following are the awards not available for publication yesterday: — Light Horses.— Weight-carrying hack, to list: 1, T. Ryder ;2, James Walker; 3, James Scott. Eleven entries. Two-year-old roadster: 1, James Spratt; 2, W. J. Winter. Two entries. -Year-old roadster: 1, Jas. Spratt; 2, T. Ayson. Three entries. Walking horse: 1, T. Ryder; 2, J, Walker. Seven entries. Hack, ridden by a lady : 1, T. Ryder; 2, D. Macdonald. Seven entries. Light harness horse : 1, Chas. J. Humphries; 2, S. Richardson. Seven entries. Pony, 15 hands or under : 1, S. Richardson ; 2, John Morton. Six entries. Pair buggy horses : 1, Sam. Richardson. Three entries. Jumping horse :1, Jas. Walker. Cob hack :1, Thomas Ryder. IMPLEMENTS. The Southland Engineering and Implement Company exhibited all makes of furrow, drain, and drill ploughs, spading and disc harrows, a chaffcutter, spoon feed drill for grain or turnips and manure, force feed do, grubber, corncrusher, Fowler single cylinder traction engine, Walter A. Wood binder, skeleton do, mower and hay rake. Messrs Morrow, Bassett and Co. exhibited the McCormick reaper and binder. Messrs Tothill, Watson and Co. exhibited Andrews and Beaven’s chaffcutter, andjcbaffcutter and bagger combined. The J. G. Ward Faimers Association exhibited the Massey-Harris binder, mower and cultivator, and Messrs Reid and Gray an extra heavy double furrow, double drill ploughs and drill plough and grubber combined, and the Mercer reaper and binder. Never before were so many implements seen at the society’s show, the Southland I. and E. Co. making 20 . entries. Amongst the exhibits of the Company were the forcefeed and a spoon-feed seed and manure sowers combined, which were recently noticed in these columns. The implements show many improved points, and attracted a great deal of attention.
