A desultory discussion followed, lasting six hours, Mr Bent afterwards introduced a bill for the better management of the railways, which was snnoui]ced in t\\e Qoyernor'a, speech at the opening of the session , An inquest oa the body of W. Thomas, who died from the effects of injuries received by the railway collision at Hawtjjqrn was commenced yesterday, but the inquiry was adjourned to the J3tb inst.
