The Marine Board of Enquiry which, on '.4th inst., found that the Captain of the iuinigrant ship Northampton was to blame tor the grounding of the vessel on a reef it Point Hacking, but deferred dealing with his certificate for a week, gave their decision yesterday, and directed that the captain's certificate should be suspended for i period of 9 months. The prorogation of Parliament will take place to-day. Received Nov. 22, 1882, 1 a.m. SYDNEY, Nov. 22. The inquest on the bodies recovered from the Austral was concluded to-day. The verdict of the jury stated that the <apt;iin, mate, chief engineer, and carpen;fer had committed a grave error of judgncnt in failing to take proper precautions for the safety of the* vessel. The New South Wales Parliament was formally prorogued to-day. The Australian cricketers were accorded abanquet to-night in honor of their return from England. A large number of citizens were present, and much enthusiasm prevailed. Received Nov. 22, 1882, at 1 a.m. ADELAIDE, Nov. 21. A copious rain fall is now being experienced in this colony, and especially in the noithern districts. Received Nov. 21, 1882, 1.1 a.m. MELBODRNE, Nov. 20. The National Mortgage and Agency Co. of New Zealand report that malting barley is nominal at 4s to 4b 6d, and the market is sluggish. Shipping wheat is quiet, but stealy at 5s 4d to os sd. New Zealand feed oats are dull and easier at 4s Id to 4s 3d. The heavy rains that are falling have reduced the value of seeding grains, and crops in early districts, where cut, are suffering from the excessive wet ; while the rain is benefiting the late district J .
