The Merchant Shipping and Underwriters' Association report, under date London, December 27th, arrival of the Mono Castle at New York, from Auckland. Nelsojt, Jan. 2. Arrived—ship Fernglen, eighty days from London, with 225 immigrants and six cabin passengers, for Wellington. There were three deaths of children, and one birth, on board. The Bhip will probably proceed to Wellington with all her immigrants, ,:tOTmorrow, they being principally for Wanganui. (PER ASSOCIATION'S SPECIAL WIRE.) Wellington, Jan. 1. The Pleadies, from London, brings about 30 passengers, but no Government immigrants. No deaths, sickness, or accidents occurred during the voyage. The passengers all speak in terms of the highest praise of Captain Sutton and the treatment they * experienced, on their arrival. Dnringthe passage the Pleadies spoke the barque Clara, bound from Havannah to Malmora. She reported having lost the cautain and five men, from yellow, fever, the week after leaving port. The Douglas was also spoken and wished to be reported all well. She was bound from Liverpool to Melbourne. ; . , Arrived, to-day, s.s: Rangitara, from Napier, and the Caiuel, schooner, from Hobarton. Sailed, the s.s. Wellington, for Nelson, and the Lady Bird,-for the South; passengers —-Mrs Nichols, Messrs Parsons, Champion, and 3 steerage. Dunedin, Jan. 2. Sailed — Tararua, for the North;; Albion, for Melbourne, via the Bluff. Arrived —Oreti, from the Bluff; the ship Norval, from London, is at the Heads. She left on October 2nd.' . ■■:■■ Christchurch, Jan. 2. Arrived—Charles Deering, barque, from New York, with 1500 tons or reapers and binders, and notions, half of which, are for Dunedin. Brigantine Isabella, from Catlin's River, and the American brigantine Star, from Newcastle. During the voyage a seaman named Walker was knocked overboard by the main boom and drowned. The weather was too stormy to allow of a boat being lowered. The brigantine Borough Bell, from Grafton, New South Wales, also arrived. USailed —Mary Campbell, for Greymouth.
