I.C.C. XIII V STAR XIII.

These two teams met on show day for the first time this season, and the 1.0. C. captain having won the toss elected to bat. The first wicket put on 40 runs, the feature of this partnership being the backing up for runs. The whole team batted very steadily, 8 of the 13 batsmen getting double figures.
