DISTRESSING CASE.

AN UNFORTUNATE LADY.

Recent investigations by a member of onr staff show that cases of genuine distress are now being reported from all quarters. In many instances relief has been granted and much suffering obviated, but there is still a great deal to be done in the matter. A particularly distressing case is reported from the North Island at Featherston, a Miss Petrea Peterson being the victim. Miss Peterson, when interviewed, said : ‘ I have been particularly unfortunate during the last four years, and have been so bad as to be hardly able to perform my work. Until then I had always enjoyed good health, but I became a victim to giddiness, cramps, poverty

of the blood, sleeplessness, loss of appetite, and swollen legs. If I went to bed early, I would merely lie tossing about till morning light bade me get up. Thus I would begin the day thoroughly worn out. You can imagine what condition I was in by bed time. Increasing weakness affected me, and I could scarcely drag one leg' after the other; even the slightest household work became a drag. No matter how tempting the meals were I could never eat. Everything I took had to be forced down. There was always a bad taste in my mouth. My system needed rich red blood, and this was the opinion of the doctors who prescribed for me. They said my complaint was anaemia, but I did not appear to recover under their treatment. Whilst reading the Wellington Post I noticed the testimonials of people who had been cured by Dr. Williams’ pink pills. I commenced them, and even the third dose proved of benefit. I used several boxes, and am now quite strong and well; lost appetite has been restored, I sleep well and can do any amount of work without fatigue. My healthy appearance evidences my cure. Dr. Williams’ pink pills also cured an eye trouble which gave me great annoyance. I never tail to recommend this genuine medicine to all suffering acquaintances, and I know of several who have benefited very greatly.’ From all parts of Australia wo receive testimonials like this ; testimonials in which people tell how they have been cured by Dr. Williams’ pink pills of rheumatism, sciatica, dyspepsia, skin diseases, after effects of influenza and fevers, consumption, bronchitis, chronic colds, ladies’ ailments, loss of vital strength, paralysis, rickets, and all diseases of the blood and nerves When baying see that the full name is printed in red ink on the pink outside wrapper. Dr. (.Williams’ pink pills are sold by chemists and storekeepers, and by the Dr. Williams’ Medicine Co., Wellington, N.Z., three shillings a box, six boxes sixteen and sixpence, post free. Those who use Dr. Williams’ pink pills soon become strong, well-developed women" and sturdy, healthy men to whom the summer’s heat brings no debility, and the winter’s cold no ailments prevalent in that season.
