RECIPES.
Cocoanut Cakes. —fib butter and Jib sugar (beaten to a cream), 4 well beaten eggs, Jib flour, Jib cornflour, Jib ground rice, Jib dessicated cocoanut, 2 small teaspoonfuls baking powder. Put desertspoontul on cold tray (floured). Cook in hot oven 15 to twenty minutes, cover with pink icing, to which add a little essence of raspberry and sprinkle cocoanut over. Maizena Cakes. —Heat a basin and beat Jib butter, Jib sugar to a cream, add two eggs, beat 5 minutes, 1 teaspoonful baking powder, Jib maizena, Jib flour, mix well and put 1 tablespoonful in greased patty-pans and bake seven minutes.
