Coffee Pot Holder
This holder resembles an ear of corn. Divide one lap of corn-colored single zephyr into two equal balls. Cast on 63 stitches, knit plain forward and back 6 times. Now join the other ball and knit 7 stitches. With the first ball knit 7 stitches. Continue in this way across. 7th row—Draw back the wool lightly, and knit 7 stitches ; turn wool to front and the other thread out, and knit 7 ; change the thread again and knit 7. Continue same across. Repeat until there are 33 ridges on the right side. Bind off and draw up the ends to a suitable and convenient shape for use.
