(By Telegraph.) WELLINGTON, Juneß. In the case of Walter Ugden yesterday, charged with an attempt to defraud by means of a fictitious telegram, the jury brought in a verdict of not guilty. John P. Donovan, charged with the theft of £ls, was found guilty and remanded for sentence. The last case on the calendar, the charge of murder against Nicholson, will be taken on Monday. In the Supreme Court judgment was given in a case Black and another v. the Government Life Insurance Commissioner, an action to decide whether an apportionment on a policy is revocable. The Bench held the first apportionment irrevocable.
