THE WELLINGTON MURDER.
(Br Telegraph.) WELLINGTON. June 8. Tho statement that a double set of track* was noticed, after tho Kaiwarra murder, lead’ iug to and from Chcmis’ house, is scarcely correct. There were tracks, but the police are unable to say that they wore more than ordinary marks. Chemis asserts that ho will have no difficulty in proring an alibi The police authorities keep any information they hare discovered to themselves, and say no more than that the evidence has not weakened.
