FATAL BOAT ACCIDENT,
Brisbane, May 17.
A man named Power and two women have been drowned at Bustard Head, near Port Curtis, through a boat upsetting.
NEW SILVER FIND.
A rich silver minelhas been discovered sixty miles from Cloncurry, a copper mining centre in Burke district. An .assay gives 800 ounces to the ton. The lode is said to be traceable for thirty miles.
