Midsummer Handicap ; a mile and a half. Magnet 1 Capri 2 Litttlo Sister 3 Magnet won by a neck. Twelve started. Time—2min 40sec, CJ.C. SUMMER MEETING. Christchurch, Jan. 1. The attendance was between 2500 and 3000. The two totalisators put through £4977. The racing was very good,with close finishes in most events.
