MINERS STOP WORK.

The miners at the .Extended Mine at Huntly did no work to-day. A meeting to discuss Union affairs was held yesterday, but as very few mea attended, it was decided to continue the proceedings in working hours, with the result as stated. Theminera at the Rotowarn ceased work at 2 o'clock this afternoon for the same purpose. It is noteworthy that the fortnight ending on Friday last was the first two weekly period for several months during whien work at the Extended Mine had proceeded withou-t some broken time.
