CUP MATCHES POSTPONED. Owing to the North v South match on Wednesday and Senior and Junior rep. matches on Saturday there wiU he no Senior, Junior or Third Cup matches this week, ENGLISH SOCCER TEAM. PROPOSED VISIT TO AUSTRALIA. Sydney, June 21 of the Soccer Football Association considered a proposal to bring out an English team next season. A letter was read from the New Zealand Association asking cooperation in securing a team. The estimated cost was £4OOO, of which New Zealand was prepared to pay £ISOO if the team played in the Dominion. Queensland also offered to pay £IOOO. Final decision was deferred for a few weeks pending a representative of the Association visiting other States, with a view of securing support.
