London, March 9 Mr Hnnter, interviewed by the Australian Press Association, ridicules Minahan’s allegation regarding a Republican plot in Australia referred to in a Sydney cable on March sth. Although a Queensland Minister daring the whole war, and intimately associated with Labourites during the Conscription referendum, he never heard the slightest hint or suggestion of these alleged Republican plans. The first intimation had come the year after through London newspapers and on the authority of Minahan.
