THE WAR’S RECORD.
Aust. N. Z. Cable Association. Renter. Paris, February 18. French naval losses during the war were four battleships (thb Bonnet, Suffren, Gaulois and Danton), four armoured cruisers, one cruiser, four destroyers, eight torpedo boats, fourteen submarines, sixty-two armed trawlers, five auxiliary cruisers, and twelve smaller war craft, representing an aggregate of 100,000 tons, British lost 550,000 tons; Germany 850,000 tons; Italy 75,000 tons; Austria 65,000 tons; United States, 175,000 tons.
