OLD FRENCH CRUISER SUNK.
ITS ATTACKER DESTROYED. (Received Thursday, 8.45 p.m.) LONDON, Dec.. 19. A French communique says: The old ■ cruiser Chateau Renault, which, was iutilised as a transport, was torpedoed and sunk by a German submarine on ■the Uth December. Ten sailors are ;missing. The submarine was destroyed.
