Eaisuli had refused to receive the Sultan’s letters unless Raid Maclean personaßy delivered them unaccompanied by troops. Alaclean and four followers visited Eaisuli’s camp, when he was informed that he would be detained until all Eaisuli’s demands were granted; The Bandit’s Demands. London, July 4. It is understood that Sir Edward Grey is already pressing the Sultan of Morocco to obtain Kaid Sir Henry Mac Lean’s release. The Times states that Mac Lean is imprisoned in a village of the Khamas tribe, 45 miles from Tangiers, and there is reason to believe that he is not being well treated. Raisuli demands appointment to tho governorship and a large ransom.
