The entertainment promoted by the young ladies of the Bible Class, which took place at St. Andrews’ Hall, Marton, yesterday, was well | attend, and the receipts wore very } satisfactory. Much of the credit is duo to Miss Nicol, who took a leadt ing part in organising the entertainment. The funds will be devoted : towards the cost of erecting a suitable room for the Class. Following is the prize list: Scones, Miss Maggie Hogg 1, Miss A. Copestaie 2; sponge, Mrs A. K. McGregor I, Miss Gertie Mcßeth 3; cake, Mrs Kniggo 1, Mrs Cox 2; small cakes, Miss Thoms; toffee, Mrs J. Kilgour I. Miss Gertie Mcßeth 3; mixed lollies, Mrs J. Kilgour 1, MissDonll 2; cocoaunt ice, Miss Gertie Mcßeth 1, Miss J. Gordon 2; preserves, raspberry, Mrs A. K. McGregor 1, Mrs Anderson 2; plum, Mrs Cox 1, Mrs Nesbit 2; collection, Miss R. Kicol 1, Miss M. Baskin 2; curios, Miss Flora Kicol 1, Miss Mogridge 2. Special prizes were given by Mr McEldowuey and Mr J.
