FIRST ELECTION Two Candidates For Mayoralty Twenty-two For Council The first general election for recently constituted borough of Putaruru will be held on July 16, when ratepayers and residents will be called upon to elect a mayor and eight councillors. There are two nominations for the mayoralty and twenty-two for the council, the whole being thoroughly representative of the borough, so that the election promises to fee keen.
