PUTARURU PRICES A smaller yarding of fat sheep was pennedi by the Farmers’ Auctioneering Company at the Putaruru tale on Monday, and prices' were slightly improved on late rates. A small quantity of boner cows were slightly easier, while a medium number of store cattle sold at increased rates. A good number of dairy heifers and cow® showing well forward and in good condition, sold fully up to other quotations. A light yarding of fat pigs was penned prices remaining firm at recent rates. Realisations were:— Sheep.Fat lambs, 26s 7d. Fat ewes, 25s Id. Cattle.— | ! : _!®j; 'j Si-Year P.A. steers, £l2 16s. Si-Year Hereford steers, £l2 6a. Si-Year Shorthorn steers, £lO 15s to £ll. 2a-Year P.A. steers, £9 11s to £lO 10s. Eighteen months P.A. heifers, £6 7 s 6d . Dairies.— Choice Jersey andi Jersey cross heifers, close to profit, £l2 15s to £l3 10s. Jersey and Jersey cross heifers, £lO to £l2 ss'. Jersey cows, close to profit, £8 5s to £9 15s. Pigs..— -Bacomers, £5 8s to £5 17s. Porkers, £3 Is to £3 10s. iStores, 37s to £2 ss. .
