TOWN BOARD VACANCIES.
(To the Editor.) Sir, —In a recent issue -of your paper I noticed a letter signed “Ratepayer,” for whose edification I may state that I called a public meeting which he, with all interested, was invited to attend. Whether he did so or not is best known to himself. At that meeting I stated my point of view, which was evidently satisfactory, as a committee was formed of all present with but one exception. I have now to state that if “Ratepayer” will divest himself of all “Camouflage,” come out into the open and give the public his point of view he will no doubt obtain all the satisfaction ho desires, but while he hides under the hedge of anonymity no further notice will be taken of him by me.
