(OWN CORRESPODENT.) Sydney, Oct. 6. The names of the members of the new Ministry are as follows :—Sir Patrick Jennings, Messrs Dibbs, Farnell, Abbot. Tricket, Badgery, Wright, Lee and Want. It is understood that Mr Dibbs and Sir Patrick Jennings will exchange portfolios, Mr Dibbs retaining the Premiership. and Mr Farnell will be appointed Vice-President of the Executive Council and Mr Reid or Mr Slattery, be made Minister of Justice. Sir Alexander Stuart has been called to the Legislative Council. The announcement that Sir Alexander Stuart has been appointed Commissioner for the Colony at the Exhibition in London is premature. October 8. The nominations of the city and suburban electorate are fixed for the 13th inst. The elections will take place on the 16th, and the country elections follow promptly afterwards. Mr Dion Boucicault, the well-known dramatist and actor, left per Zealandia to-day roa Auckland. Melbourne, Oct. 9. Acting on the initiative measures of Synnott Bros., a provisional committee has been formed for the purpose of the development of new markets for Australian and New Zealand wool. The names of Sir Julius Vogel and Mr Douglas McLean appear on the committee.
