LONDON WOOL SALES
CROSSBREDS IN DEMAND ACTIVE GENERAL BUYING (Reed. March 22, 2.20 p.m.) LONDON, March 21. At the London wool sales, 10,01.8 bales were offered, including 4838 from New Zealand, and 8280 were sold. A very good selection met with active general buying. New Zealand crossbreds were in chief demand and prices generally were maintained. Withdrawals were chiefly confined to inferior sorts.
