BUTTER MARKET DULL
LONDON QUOTATIONS (Reed. March 22, 1.50 p.m.) LONDON. March 21. The butter market is dull. Choicest salted New Zealand is quoted at 110 s and Australian at 115 s. Unsalted New Zealand is 118 s and Australian is 116 s. The above quotations for New Zealand and Australian salted butter are 2s per cwt. below those at the end of last week. At 116 s per cwt., the price announced to-day, the New Zealand, butter rate is equal to 13.8 d per lb., f.0.b., or 1.09 d below the guaranteed price of 14.89 d.
