The Government of the United States, in the formal note to Germany made public to-day, refused to recognise the legality of the absorption of Czechoslovakia toy Germany. Savage, says it is the desire of the New Zealand Government that immediate action be taken by the British Government to call a conference of peaceloving nations of the world in an endeavour to remove the causes of war.
