SHAW'S PLAY BANNED
"INSULTING" TO ISLAM HOSTILITY IN EGYPT (Reed. Mar. 14, 1.40 p.m.) CAIRO, Mar. 13. As a result of the member's faculty striking on the grounds that it insulted Islam Shaw's play Saint Joan has been deleted from the Azhar University's programme of English studies. The students intend publicly to burn copies of the play.
