The map shows the provinces of Bohemia, Moravia, Slovakia and the Carpatho-Ukraine (Ruthenia). The shaded portions, with the exception of the areas shown as occupied by Ruthenians and Poles, are the respective areas on the left and right ceded last year to Germany and Hungary.
