The British United Press Berlin correspondent says that indications are "rowing that Germany intends to take strong measures to settle the Slovak crisis, probably within 24 hours. Well-informed circles believe that the German Minister to Prague, is to-morrow delivering a demarche, which will be practically an ultimatum. It is believed in Berlin that as a result of the Slovakian situation Herr Hitler postponed his scheduled departure for Vienna for the anschluss anniversary celebrations. Well-informed circles, 'state that Herr Hitler has decided', to • intervene in Slovakia, but no indication of the form which such intervention is likely to take has been given. Meanwhile official quarters insist tha!t the 'movements of tr/oops in Austria are concerned only with the ansehluss celebrations.
