No Artisans From Melbourne There is little likelihood of skilled tradesmen and artisans in Melbourne leaving their work to come to New Zealand, stated Mr. H. A. Norris, a Victorian architect, who passed through Auckland recently. “Many Melbourne contractors ,told me they would be embarrassed if workmen left there,” he said. “Conditions there are good, and there is sufficient work to last at least 18 months. At present my own office has £40,0(10 worth of contracts in hand.”
