PROFESSOR J. STONE ARRIVAL IN DOMINION (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. To fill the chair of law vacated by Professor *R, M. Algie at Auckland University College, Professor Julius Stone arrived by the Rangitata with his wife and child. After leaving Oxford (in 1928, Professor Stone went to Leeds University where he undertook research work and later was at Hull University College. He was elected a Icilow of Social science o! the Rbckefelier Foundation. He studied at Harvard University and returned to Leeds for two years 'before he was appointed to the Auckland post.
