Mr. Gavin Brown, field inspector for the (Lands and Survey Department, Gisborne, has received notice of his transfer to Hawke’s 'Bay, and leaves Gisborne on Monday for Napier. Mr. Brown has been .stationed in Gisborne for the past three years.
